The inventory of the Antonio Cassese fonds, deposited at the Historical Archives of the European Union in May 2015, was enriched with a new Artifacts series, for long-term preservation and public access. The project is a first step towards the inventorying of all artefacts present in the various archival fonds preserved at the HAEU.

The long way to Florence: Council of the EU produces video on the transfer of archives to Florence during the Covid pandemic

In December 2020, the Council Archives organised a regular file transfer for long-term preservation and public access, from its deposits in Brussels to the Historical Archives of the EU in Florence. The Council of the EU has documented this archival voyage from Brussels to Florence in a video along with an article, made available to the public via the HAEU website.
