EUI Fellowships

  • Fernand Braudel Senior Fellows: Fernand Braudel Fellowships provide a framework for established academics with an international reputation to pursue their research at the EUI
  • Max Weber Fellows: The Max Weber Programme is a postdoctoral training programme in the Social and Human Sciences open to academics who have had their doctorate for no longer than five years

Other Fellowships

  • Marie Curie Fellows: The Department of History and Civilisation acts as a host institution for Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellowships which are awarded by the European Commission
  • Canon Foundation Fellows: This fellowship for post-doctoral research is open to candidates of Japanese nationality or permanent residents of Japan
  • Academy of Finland Fellows: The Academy of Finland awards fellowships for post-doctoral research at the EUI, taking into account the significance and impact of the research in terms of Finnish society, business and industry
  • AEUIFAI Fellows: Fellowships of the Australian European University Institute Fellowships Association
  • Visiting Fellows/Students: Self-financing scholars may also be appointed as Visiting Fellows or Visiting Students  in the Department of History and Civilization
