Current Research Projects
Nehal co-led the Global Governance Program's research project on Global Governance by Indicators, which resulted in the Palgrave Handbook on Indicators in Global Governance. From 2012-2015, he led a project on autonomous weapons system co-funded by the EUI's Research Council and the Thyssen Foundation, and which led to the publication in August 2016 of the volume, Autonomous Weapons System: Law, Ethics, Policy
. He is currently completing a monograph on the concept of the state in Grotius, Pufendorf and Vattel, for publication by Columbia University Press.
