PopFest is traditionally organised in conjunction with the British Society for Population Studies (BSPS). For the third time in its 27-year-long history, PopFest will leave the UK and take place in Florence, Italy. 

The 28th PopFest conference is organised by Florence Population Studies (FloPS), a collaboration between the European University Institute and the University of Florence. The conference will take place between 22-24 June 2020 at the European University Institute.

The European University Institute (EUI) is a unique international centre for doctorate and post-doctorate studies and research, situated in the Tuscan hills overlooking Florence.

The conference will take place at the Department of Social and Political Sciences, in Badia Fiesolana, Via dei Roccettini 9, San Domenico di Fiesole (FI) – Italy.
