MEDIVA First Meeting

The first meeting brought together the project consortium members from six different research centres in six European countries.

 

First meeting

  

The programme of the meeting focuses on the initial results of the first months of the project. The discussion was centered round the created database of the existing studies, projects, best practices assessing the media capacity to reflect diversity and promote migrant integration. Practical concerns and difficulties encountered were outlined and suggestions for improvement were made. A draft structure of thematic reports to be prepared by each consortium member was presented and analysed. Proposals on media monitoring indicators were made and discussed, together with the dissemination plans for the MEDIVA project. Participation to the meeting was restricted to project partners only.
