Description: On September 13th 2019, the Staff Committee met with the HR management and the following main topics have been discussed:- Organisation of academic assistants- The courses on teleworking which are organised in October- And a first evaluation of the adjustment call and promotions exercise has been shared.

Description: The EUI management, represented by the President, Secretary-General and directors of BFA and HR have informed the Staff Committee and Employees Union on the current state of affairs regarding Brexit, on the implications on the British nationals at the EUI and on the EUI at large, and on short-term prospects.

Description: During this AC the outcomes of the recent High Council have been discussed. Most important was the decision to approve/conclude the pilot phase of the STG project. This opens the door to recruitment of faculty (director and chairs) for the School. The Academic Council approved the draft contingency plan for Brexit, which aims to retain UK researchers and staff on the condition that the UK meets its commitments to the Institute. This plan is now to be approved by the High Council
