Martin Curley

Martin Curley has 15 years’ experience working with and in the garment industry. Currently a consultant on human rights in supply chains, he previously served as Senior Policy and Research Officer at Fair Wear Foundation, and has worked on policy development and communications in government, university and NGO settings.

His work has included living wage implementation, supply chain transparency, social dialogue systems, access to remedy and evaluation of human rights due diligence. He holds an MSc in International Management from Royal Holloway, University of London, where his dissertation focused on human rights due diligence to prevent excessive overtime.

At EUI, Martin plans to focus on helping stakeholders in the global garment industry create more effective governance tools, based on shared, evidence-based models of the industry's scope, power dynamics, and underlying beliefs.
