Abdolrasool Divsallar, Ph.D

Abdolrasool holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Tehran. His research interests include Iranian security policy, Iran's relations with great powers, the Persian Gulf security order, and comparative threat analysis. Since September 2019, he is a Program Associate at the Middle East Directions Programme of the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies. He also teaches courses on 'Political Insecurity'and 'Islamic Republic's strategic culture' in Master in Middle Eastern Studies at the Graduate School of Universita' Cattolica (ASERI).

Previously, he was a senior fellow at the Institute for Middle East Strategic Studies (2017-2019), and director of the National Resource and Development Program (2009-2015) in Tehran. He has published several books in Farsi, while his peer-reviews, policy briefs, and op-eds have appeared in different international outlets.
