Nikhil Dubey is currently serving as an Assistant Director to the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Madhya Pradesh, India. In this capacity, he is exploring the policy applications of emerging technologies such as Blockchain or Artificial Intelligence in various departments of the state.

Prior to this role, he has served as a Policy Assistant to a Member of Parliament in India and advocated in favor of agriculture-sector policy reforms. He holds Master's degree in development studies and public policy from Ambedkar University, Delhi and, Central European University, Budapest, respectively. After attaining his Bachelor's degree in economics, he interned at Grameen Bank, Bangladesh, and studied political-economy of microfinance. At 29, he is now a co-founder of 'PANI Alliance'- a policy collaboration between 20 US Department of State Fellows from Pakistan, Nepal and India.
