Shelly Hsieh

Shelly Hsieh is a Regulatory Policy Analyst at the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in Paris, where she works with governments, regulators and oversight bodies to improve regulatory policy in OECD and non-OECD countries. Her research interests focuses at the intersection of energy and regulation. Prior to joining the OECD, Shelly helped develop the Southeast Asia programme at the International Energy Agency (IEA) and served as the IEA’s focal point for the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Energy Working Group. She holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development from Sciences Po, France and a Master’s Degree in International Relations from Peking University, China. During the EUI fellowship, Shelly will conduct research on the governance of the Southeast Asian regional power grid.
