The recommendations are the fruit of the discussions among eighteen renowned academics, public health experts and policy-makers gathered by the School of Transnational Governance.
In an online workshop on 27 March 2020, the experts conducted a broad analysis of the situation from different political and disciplinary perspectives, with the aim to develop actionable recommendations for the European Commission.
In addition to an in-depth examination of the immediate health crisis, the workshop participants also addressed the economic impact, as well as the future of EU integration and solidarity and the role of the state.
