A separate application, in addition to the EUI online application, is required and must by filed with the Fundación Carolina (FC). The application for admission to the EUI doctoral programme is not automatically an application for the externally funded scholarship.
Candidates from Latin American countries members of the Ibero-American Community of Nations may consider applying for an external scholarship funded by the Fundación Carolina (FC).
- Candidates who consider applying to the scholarships awareded by the Fundación Carolina (FC) must first file an online application with the EUI by 31 January 2019 (24:00 CET). They should select “External Funding” in the Grant Authority Section of the EUI online application form and indicate their interest for this scholarship in the Justification field of the form. They may do so in addition to any other grant programme they believe are eligible for (up to three grant programmes may be selected). Grant and Allowances
- Monthly grant: 1,200 EUR for a maximum of 36 months.
- Family allowance: no.
- Travel allowance: yes.
- Insurance allowance: no.
The external sponsor provides a monthly grant for the first three years of EUI Ph.D. Programme. The fourth year is not funded.
