Participation to special web working groups

Posted on 30 August 2016

As discussed over the last months, we would like to create a special working group to work on a shared proposal for the upcoming redesign of our main website.

Participation is open to all members of the WWG; ideally one person for each section, nominated by the Web coordinator.

We roughly estimate a time commitment of about 2 hours per week for 2 months (October, November), in this initial phase.

Long term (at least 3 years) experience as a web editor/designer is required, and specific training will be provided or coordinated by the members of the Web Unit.

Please make sure that your supervisor is informed and approved your participation, before sending your application:

This is a great chance to learn more about web design, as well as user experience and website management in general and great challenge for our Web Working Group, to provide the EUI with a new design that could answer in detail, the needs of all the stakeholders involved.

We will make a short presentation of this project on 12 September, and you are all invited.

We will be happy to answer your questions, and discuss any doubts regarding this project.

On a side note: we would like to apply the same model to our ‘writing for the web’ training (planned for this coming October).

If you would like to participate to the organisation of the training, please let us know through the same form by 15 September.

We are already working on the training, in collaboration with the Language centre, and we will be happy to have you on board.
