EUI-Guest Configuration for BlackBerry


The below guide has been tested on BlackBerry models Curve and Curve Pro with BlackBerry OS v.5.x. Screenshots are taken from Curve with BlackBerry OS v7.0 thus may slightly differ on other models and OS versions.




  • WiFi must be enabled (depending on the make, either via hardware or software switch).
  • WiFi settings must be set to DHCP.



  1. Open Manage Connections menu;
  2. Be sure Wi-Fi is turned on;
  3. Now go to Set Up > Wi-Fi Network menu;
  4. Choose EUI-Guest:

  5. Accept the Hotspot Login warning by clicking on OK;
  6. The default web browser will open up automatically [1] with EUI's Authentication screen: authenticate with username and password provided on your personal EUI Guest Receipt:

  7. Once access is granted, the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) will be displayed inside your browser.


You have now succesfully configured your BlackBerry to connect to EUI-Guest.

Your device will automatically connect to EUI-Guest whenever it is in range and your wireless card is enabled and turned on.
