Language Certificates at the EUI

EUI Language Certificates

The Language Centre can issue certificates of attendance, indicating the course you frequented, and the level of the course.  It cannot issue certificates of language proficiency. If you would like a certificate of attendance, write to the Language Centre Assistant, indicating:

  • Name, surname
  • EUI status, e.g. HEC cohort 2014; research assistant, Global Governance; trainee, library.
  • Title, dates and teacher of the course you frequented 

International Proficiency Certificates

Certificazione della Conoscenza della Lingua Italiana (CELI)

An agreement between the EUI and the Università per Stranieri di Perugia allows researchers to attend preparation courses and to sit the CELI examination

Preparation courses and exams are held at the EUI

French: Diplôme avancé de langue française (DALF)

Language proficiency exams are held at the Institut français de Florence 

Preparation courses for the DALF certificate can be held on request.

Preparation courses for language proficiency exams can be offered at the EUI. The exams will be held at the Deutsches Institut.
