How to read the course code: language levels
The EUI Language Centre uses the Council of Europe Framework (CEFR) to indicate the levels of the courses. A1 indicates a beginners' level; C2, advanced or native speaker. For more information check: Language Levels and Placement Tests.
The course codes refer to the approximate CEFR levels of the group at the beginning and at the end of the course as in the key below:
A1-A2
A2-B1
B1-B2
B2-C1
C1-C2
all levels, although there may be a threshold limit indicated in the course description
