About the School of Transnational Governance

At the EUI School of Transnational Governance (STG) we train current and future leaders in the methods, knowledge, skills and practice of global governance, helping them navigate policy-making strategies which increasingly transcend borders.

We offer Executive Training Seminars for experienced professionals and Fellowships for early and mid-career innovators. We also host Policy Dialogues, bringing experts from the world of policy, the private sector and journalism together to discuss solutions to pressing policy issues.

The STG’s Master in Transnational Governance is a two-year programme for graduates with a mix of theory and practice across policy fields. Master’s students have the opportunity to be part of international exchanges with other top-tier universities and to do internships at our partner organisations.

Our courses focus on global issues such as peace and security, international trade and finance and climate change. We also work on gender governance, digital politics, economy and societies, as well as comparative regional governance and transnational politics and democracy.

The STG’s work is supported by the European Commission’s Erasmus + programme and many other partners, and is guided by the EUI President and the STG External Advisory Board.
