Nationality:

• Polish citizens.
• Citizens of a Member State of the European Union or a member state of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) – a party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area and the members of their families if residing in the territory of the Republic of Poland.
• Non-citizens who have been granted a long-term residence permit in the territory of the Republic of Poland.

Education:

Applicants who hold a Master’s degree (magister or an equivalent degree)

Age:

Under age of 35 on the day of the application deadline (31 January).

Obywatele polscy lub obywatele Unii Europejskiej i krajów EFTA i członkowie ich rodzin w rozumieniu ustawy z dnia 14 lipca 2006 r. o wjeździe na terytorium Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej, pobycie oraz wyjeździe z tego terytorium obywateli państw członkowskich Unii Europejskiej i członków ich rodzin (Dz. U. z 2014 r. poz. 1525), którym przysługuje prawo pobytu na terytorium Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej przez okres dłuższy niż trzy miesiące w rozumieniu tej ustawy, oraz osoby posiadające status rezydenta długoterminowego na terytorium Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej.

Wiek:

Nieukończony 35. rok życia w dniu wygaśnięcia aplikacji (tj. 31 stycznia).

Grants and Allowances

Monthly grant: 1.500 € (as of September 2018).

Dependants’ allowance for accompanying family members (partner/spouse and/or child/children): Yes

Insurance: Yes

The Authority provides a monthly grant for the first three years of EUI Ph.D. Programme in the amount of 1.500 € per month. The fourth year is covered by the EUI (2023 4th year EUI grant is 1.440 € per month, in addition to other allowances) with a complementary top-up contribution of the Grant Authority to the amount of 1.500 € per month.
