This is a catch-up preparatory course for the seminar “Introduction to Quantitative Methods”. It will provide a basic introduction into statistical methods and Stata, which is one of the major statistical software packages used in sociology and political sciences.
Newcomers to quantitative methods in social sciences are strongly encouraged to attend the course. However, please note that no credits will be awarded for attending this seminar.
Please bring your own laptop to the class, with the programme Stata installed on it, because part of the course will consist of examples using Stata.
