Taku Shinohara, PhD. is professor at Tokyo University of foreign studies. He graduated the University of Tokyo (MA, European history) and Charles University (PhD., Czech history). He is specialized in Central European history of the 19th and 20th century, history of Habsburg monarchy, especially Bohemian lands and Galicia.
