As part of the series of seminars “The Legacy of the Treaties of Rome for Today’s Europe, 1957-2017,” organised to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome, this seminar will focus on the evolution of the EEC/EU from a market to a political Community, the institutional development of the European Parliament and the feasibility of democracy at EU level.
