This interdisciplinary workshop, co-organised by the Departments of Political and Social Sciences and History and Civilization and the Migration Policy Centre at the RSCAS, intends to create a platform for young scholars whose works belong to the migratory system and the broadly defined region of Central Asia, to present and discuss their research papers and articles. The aim is to explore conceptual frameworks for the study of migration and to consider social transformation as its central category, in order to understand the complexity, interconnectedness and contextuality of migratory processes.”
