This lecture will assess the impact of Brexit on UK consumer law and policy. It will look at unfair terms, unfair commercial practices sale of goods and product liability. It will argue that it is unlikely that formal law and policy will change and any divergences from continental law would be as likely even in the UK remained a member state.
