"Kick-off" event for "Florence Population Studies"

“Florence Population Studies” is a new, informal, collaboration of population researchers at the European University Institute’s Comparative Life Course and Inequality Research Center (CLIC, based in the Department of Political and Social Sciences) and the Department of Statistics, Computer Science, Applications at the University of Florence. This collaboration will commence on 15 May 2018 with a “kick-off” seminar at the EUI, Badia Fiesolana, Seminar Room 4. The seminar will take place from 13:00 – 16:00 (see below). In addition to introducing the new initiative and a round of introductions of the participants and their research interests, Jan Van Bavel from the University of Leuven will give a key-note presentation entitled “The Reversal of the Gender Gap in Education and Family Dynamics in Europe”.
