We welcome H.E. Lewis M. Eisenberg, U.S. Ambassador to the Italian Republic, for the keynote speech “Overview of U.S. Foreign Policy”.

Lewis M. Eisenberg was appointed United States Ambassador to the Italian Republic, and the Republic of San Marino, in 2017. In his manifold roles as public servant, Ambassador Eisenberg acted as Chairman of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and as Founding Board Member of the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation, chairing its 9/11 Victims’ Families and the Transportation and Commuters Advisory Councils.
He is a distinguished financier, investor, and philanthropist.
He is an Emeritus Member of Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management Advisory Council and Life Member of the Cornell University Council. He earned a B.A. at Dartmouth College and a M.B.A. at Cornell Johnson School of Business.

Professor Renaud Dehousse, President of the European University Institute, will introduce the speech. A question and answer session will follow.
