Join our sixth MEP debate with a candidate to the European Parliament, on Wednesday 22 may 14:30-16:00, Seminar room 3 (Badia)! For this sixth MEP Debate we will welcome Monica Baldi, a candidate for the European elections for Fratelli d’Italia.

Monica Baldi is a candidate for central Italy for the right-wing party Fratelli d’Italia. She was an MEP in the IVth term of the European Parliament (1994-1999) and a Member of the Italian Senate between 2001 and 2006.
What are the most pressing issues for the future of Europe? Which roles should the EU play at the international level? How to manage the challenge of migration in Italy and in the EU? Where would Fratelli d’Italia be in the future parliament’s political landscape and which specific proposals to put forward amongst the right wing parties?
All this, and much more, will be discussed with Monica Baldi, don’t miss it!

After a brief presentation of the candidate, the floor will be open for an informal discussion.
The debate is part of an MEP Debate series organized by Thoughts for Europe in light of the 2019 European Parliament elections. This debate is organized with the support of the Historical Archives of the European Union.

Everybody is welcome, within the limit of 30 participants.
