Dates:
  • Thu 27 Feb 2020 09.30 - 17.30
Add to Calendar 2020-02-27 9:30 2020-02-27 17:30 Europe/Paris Qualitative and quantitative methods in private law and regulation research

In this course we will discuss recent research that deals with the evaluation and development of private law and regulation (in the financial field but also elsewhere). In this context, we will highlight how it uses a variety of both qualitative and quantitative methods. Selective readings will draw on the literature from law but also economics, political philosophy and sociology. Thus, this course will have a strong methodological dimension but also explain how researchers apply those across selective fields.
