The COVID-19 pandemic has already profoundly changed how we live and work, and how the world is organised. To understand these changes and help navigate a post-Corona world, the European University Institute (EUI) School of Transnational Governance (STG) presents a webcast series of conversations and interviews with academics and high-level policy-makers. The webcasts will consist of one-hour livestreamed panel discussions every Monday on the implications of COVID-19 on: democracy; state vs. market; climate; digital; migration; the emerging world; geopolitics. In addition, interviews with high-level policymakers will be organised according at the availability of participants.

This webcast will address the post-Corona world and state vs. markets, by examining the questions such as:

  • What are the implications of the pandemic for public health, welfare systems and the future of work?
