When courts decide cases, law, politics, and personalities matter. The key question, which the seminar seeks to explore, is how much and when?

Learning outcomes:

·        To reflect on the role of context and actors on the form and the content of the legal argument

·        To evaluate the power of the Court of Justice to influence political, economic, and social processes

·        To identify the interplay between the legal argument and the extra legal factors

·        To critically apply pol sci theory to the legal analysis of case law of the Court
