In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 28th Conference on Postal and Delivery Economics will be held online. Participants will gather in a dedicated online platform set up to host all the information, materials, sessions and presentations needed for participants to make the most of their conference experience.

The Conference on Postal and Delivery Economics is a world-leading conference open to academics, representatives from companies, regulatory authorities, public institutions, sector-specific associations and consultancies active in the postal and delivery ecosystem.

The 28th edition will feature:

  • Keynote address from Jean-Yves Muylle, European Commission, DG Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (GROW)
  • A debate between candidates for the UPU elections, who will share their vision for the UPU
    • Pascal Clivaz | Switzerland, Candidate for Director-General of the UPU
    • Jean-Paul Forceville | France, Candidate for Chairman of the POC – UPU
    • Jack Hamande | Belgium, Candidate for Director-General of the UPU
    • Marcela Maron | Argentina, Candidate for Deputy Director of the UPU
    • Masahiko Metoki | Japan, Candidate for Director-General of the UPU (Video message)
    • Marjan Osvald | Slovenia, Candidate for Deputy Director of the UPU

 

The Conference will result in the publication of a book composed of conference papers. Authors of papers selected for the programme will be advised on the prospects of publication in the conference volume once an agreement is reached with a publisher.

The conference will be hosted on a dedicated platform where all materials will be available.
