Taught by world-class experts with considerable research and policy experience, this Summer Course provides capacity to carry out regulatory reform, how to use and evaluate policy instruments like impact assessment, consultation, integrated policy appraisal, ex-post legislative evaluation, regulatory offsetting, and how to measure the performance of regulatory oversight - in courts and via specialist bodies. The training will provide in-depth cross-country and cross-sector knowledge and know-how of the whole-of-government regulatory reform in light of the Agenda 2030 objectives for Sustainable Development.

This four day course is designed for regulators, utility regulators and public managers who work on drafting legislation, support ministerial advisors, commission policy and legislative evaluation, manage consultation, and officers who carry out or have to critically read impact assessments of proposed primary and secondary legislation.
