This Oxford-Union style debate will bring together Sylvie Goulard (Deputy Governor, Banque de France) as a proponent and Renée Adams (Professor of Finance, University of Oxford) as an opponent to debate around the motion 'Should there be gender quotas on boards?'.

This Oxford-Union style debate will bring together Sylvie Goulard (Deputy Governor, Banque de France) as a proponent and Renée Adams (Professor of Finance, University of Oxford) as an opponent to debate around the motion: 'Should there be gender quotas on boards?'. After the opening statements, the event will see the direct participation of the public who will have the chance to pose their questions and vote for their favourite opinion.

This event is part of two distinct series organised by the Florence School of Banking and Finance: #FBFDiscuss and Women in Finance and will be moderated by Elena Carletti (Professor of Finance, Bocconi University).
