Starting today, graduate students from around the world can apply to join the Master of Arts in Transnational Governance (MTnG) for the 2022-23 academic year. Successful applicants will be part of the third cohort of STG master's students.
The two-year programme enables students to examine the most pressing political issues of our time through an interdisciplinary lens, bringing together perspectives from the areas of political science, international relations, public management, economics, and law. At the same time, students will engage in hands-on exercises, including a practical internship. The programme also offers opportunities to spend a semester abroad at one of the School's many international partner institutions.
The main study site will be STG's new headquarters, Palazzo Buontalenti in the centre of the city of Florence, Italy. Students have the opportunity to learn from world-leading academics and policy professionals, and to engage with the vibrant international community.
Launched in the 2020-21 academic year, the School has so far welcomed over 70 master's students. Students present a great diversity in terms of academic background and countries of origin, from Brazil to Vietnam and from Egypt to Kazakhstan.
The Master in Transnational Governance is a unique opportunity to understand policy-making across national borders. Curious? Take a look and apply!
