Deadline extended: EPP Grant on Christian Democracy and European Integration

Researchers interested in the history, role and impact of Christian Democracy on decisive moments in the process of European integration are invited to apply for a research grant to study the primary sources held at the HAEU, at the EPP Group’s archives in Brussels and at the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS).

The application deadline for the 2021 edition of the research grant programme of the Group of the European People's Party (EPP Group) in the European Parliament has been extended. Applications must be sent by e-mail to the Historical Archives of the European Union at the European University Institute no later than 30 June 2021.

The grant programme targets researchers interested in the history, role and impact of Christian Democracy, and in particular of the EPP Group in the European Parliament, on decisive moments in the process of European integration. All current postgraduate students (master’s and doctoral candidates) and postdoctoral researchers who have completed a doctorate degree in the past three years preceding the date of submission of the application are eligible to apply.

Successful applicants will receive a research grant of 5.000€ to cover all expenses, and will thereby have the opportunity to broaden their research by studying the primary sources held at the Historical Archives of the European Union in Florence, at the EPP Group’s archives in Brussels and/or at the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) in Sankt Augustin - Bonn.
