The documentation composing the PLS fonds, which includes audio-visual documentation of the Euroconsulente specialization school from 1989 to 1994, is now available for consultation.

This documentation, previously stored in Rome, was collected and deposited at the HAEU on 25 July 2019 by Pasquale Lino Saccà. 100 of the video files were digitised and are available digitally on the HAEU database, while the rest of the videos, numbering 298, are consultable in the HAEU reading room through the Combi TV device.

The PLS fonds documents the Euroconsulente specialisation school from 1989 to 1994, including courses and conferences. This school was aimed at the specialisation of experts in the European commercial area of the European Single Market. Disciplines included the study of foreign languages, as well as various EU policies including information technology, law, social, fisheries, food, agriculture, cultural, commercial, fiscal, energy, research and development, and communication policies. The courses had an important focus on institutional and planning aspects, especially oriented towards the regional use of EU financial instruments.

The lessons, recorded on video in various European cities including Brussels, Messina and Rome, were held by European officials, university teachers and officials from different regions of Italy. These lessons offer various information about Italy in a European and international context in the early 1990s.
