Alejandro is a researcher and urban practitioner and currently serves as Coordinator of the Cities Programme at CIPPEC, a public policy think-tank based in Argentina. He holds a degree in engineering, a Master degree in Public Policy and is a Master degree candidate in Urban Planning and Management. He has over eight years' experience across private, public and think-tank sectors and currently focuses on issues related to urban planning and management, public space, climate change adaptation and urban policies. Recently, he has been working on topics related to metropolitan governance, urban resilience and local disaster risk management, public space during COVID-19, nature-based solutions and green infrastructure planning.At EUI School of Transnational Governance, he seeks to assess increasing urban heat and explore proven solutions against this phenomenon. He aspires to develop himself into a heat-management and adaptation expert to mainstream heat policies and other climate change solutions related to public space, green infrastructure, urban planning and urban management throughout Argentina and Latin America.
