Biography

Weiwei Zheng obtained her PhD in Economics from George Mason University. Her research aims to provide more understanding of market mechanism and price formation. Her current works use laboratory experiments to check the effect of various market institutions in markets with few traders, and markets employing incomplete contracts. She plans to explore more on the role of middlemen during the Max Weber Fellowship.

Weiwei has been a teaching assistant for graduate level Microeconomics class and Game Theory class, and undergraduate level Intermediate Microeconomics class. She has co-instructed graduate level Econometrics class and undergraduate level Design and Analysis of Experiments class.
