The President of the European Commission Speaks at the Institute

At 12.00 on Friday 18 June, President José Manuel Durao Barroso delivered a speech at the Badia Fiesolana entitled "European Union and Multilateral Global Governance".

This was the Inaugural Lecture of the new Global Governance Programme at the European University Institute.

On Saturday 19 June, President Barroso took part in a seminar at Badia Fiesolana with a group of high-level international experts entitled "What should the EU agenda for global governance be?".
