Euro and Eurozone Information Resources


The European Central Bank issues a Monthly Bulletin  on Eurozone developments; a monthly Financial Stability Review  and alerts for new data waves, publications and policy positions. 

The Roubini Global Economics alert service and premium site provide analysis of financial, macroeconomic and geopolitical trends. EUI members can create an account via this Library link  using an @eui.eu mail address.

The IMF produces regular Euro Area reports (Article IV mission procedure) and maintains an IMF Europe resources page . The latest IMF Report on the Euro Area is at this link .  

Statistical Data on the Euro are linked from the Directory of European Statistical Resources , giving access to macroeconomic and micro-socioeconomic data on all aspects of the European economy and the Eurozone.

The OECD publishes regular Economic Surveys of the Euro Area. The 2012 Euro Survey  was published in March. Supporting data, and all OECD publications since 1998, are available in the online OECD iLibrary . The OECD also maintains an EU economic information directory .

The European Economic Sentiment Indicator (ESI) is a monthly leading indicator compiled by ECFIN  with data for the EU-27 and Eurozone-17. The Indicator is based on surveys of consumers and business managers.

The Eurointelligence alert service and subscription site, provides news and analysis of developments in the Eurozone. EUI members can join the Library subscription  using an @eui.eu mail address.

The EC Economic and Financial Affairs directorate-general publishes regular surveys in the context of the 'European Semester' process.  The latest semester survey is at this link .

A weekly digest of monetary and economic developments in the European Union is available from VOX EU . Create an alert on the VOX EU signup page .
