The Euro: information resources
The European Central Bank issues Monthly Bulletins on the Eurozone; Financial Stability Reviews and regular alerts for new publications, policy speeches and statistical data.
Euro Statistical Data Resources are listed in the Library's Directory of European Statistics with links to official and non-official data on the Eurozone, the EU and the European economy in global context.
The Eurozone Portal of the Council of the European Union lists multiple Euro-related resources.
The European Stability Mechanism secretariat issues analysis, factsheets and newsletters on financial stability in Europe.
The IMF produces regular Euro Area reports (Article IV mission procedure). The latest IMF Assessment of Financial Stability in Europe was published in March 2013.
The Roubini Global Economics premium site includes a Eurozone analysis section, with analysis of global financial, macroeconomic and geopolitical developments. EUI members can create an account via this Library link using an @eui.eu mail address.
The OECD publishes regular Economic Surveys of the Euro Area. The 2012 Euro Survey is now available. Supporting data, and all OECD publications since 1998, are available via the online OECD iLibrary.
The Financial Times online with e-alerts, the full on-screen e-paper and coverage of five international editions is available to EUI members.
The Institute for New Economic Thinking maintains a Euro Crisis resource page.
The European Economic Sentiment Indicator (ESI) is a monthly leading indicator compiled by ECFIN with data for the Eurozone-17 and EU-27. The Indicator is based on surveys of consumers and business managers.
The Eurointelligence premium site provides news and analysis of developments in the Eurozone. EUI members can join the Library subscription using an @eui.eu mail address. An alerts' service is available.
The EC Economic and Financial Affairs directorate-general publishes regular surveys in the context of the 'European Semester' process.
A weekly digest of monetary and economic developments in the European Union is available from VOX EU. Create an alert on the VOX EU signup page.
