12th EU Greening Network Meeting

Please find here as follows all available information on the upcoming 12th EU Greening Network Meeting (8-9 October 2018).

Where we are

The EUI premises are located in the surroundings of Florence, perched upon the Fiesole hills overlooking the city and the valley: the Badia Fiesolana (venue of Day 1) and Villa Schifanoia (venue of Day 2) are very close to each other, within walking distance (they are connected by an internal path). Both can be easily reached by public transport from the city center (bus nr. 7 from Piazza San Marco/La Pira - direction Fiesole, stop at San Domenico 01/Università Europea) or by taxi. The fare for a bus ticket (valid 90 minutes) is 1,50 €: tickets can be purchased in various shops/bars/newsstands and also on board for 2,50 €.

For further information see How to get to the EUI below.

Hotel Accommodation

Hotel accommodation is available both in the Fiesole area or in the city center (we suggest anyway to choose a hotel in downtown Florence and then take advantage of public transport to reach the EUI). The EUI has contracted rates with many hotels in Florence and Fiesole, for any logistic/practical information please contact Ms Laura Bechi (laura.bechi@eui.eu).
