Security at the EUI

Security is the process or means, physical or human, of delaying, preventing, and otherwise protecting against external or internal, defects, dangers, loss, criminals, and other individuals or actions that threaten, hinder or destroy an organization’s “steady state,” and deprive it of its intended purpose for being.

This definition, beside being «philosophical», includes all the processes, tools and people an organization uses, in order to prevent, delay and protect man-driven threats.

The adoption of the President’s Decision N. 21 of 16 May 2023 and the adoption of EUI Security Policy (May 2022) defines the scope, tools and limits EUI Corporate Security has.
