Guillem is a PhD Researcher in the Department of Social and Political Sciences at the European University Institute, where he works in the POLCON project. Before that, he studied International Relations (MA) and Economics (BSc).
His research lies at the intersection of comparative politics, political economy and regional studies on South European society & politics. Concretely, his dissertation focuses on the restructuring of political conflict in Southern Europe in the shadow of the Great Recession.
