The inaugural evenings (public access):

Join us for an immersive audiovisual experience in the main courtyard, alongside access to the full exhibition located in the San Marco / Michelangelo garden and the former Procuratoria rooms.

  • Dates & times: 8 and 9 May 2026 | 20:30 – 22:30 CEST (TBC)
  • Entrance: Via Cavour 57 (Buontalenti Cafeteria)
  • Admission: Free access to the general public. (Note: The inaugural event on 7 May is by invitation only)
  • Regular exhibition opening Following the inaugural days, the exhibition will remain open to the public, focusing on the artworks within the San Marco garden and the former Procuratoria rooms.

Following the inaugural days, the exhibition will remain open to the public, focusing on the artworks within the San Marco garden and the former Procuratoria rooms.

  • Duration: 11 May – 12 October 2026 (Please note there will be a summer closure from 5 July to 30 August).
  • Entrance: Via Cavour 53 (San Marco / Michelangelo garden).
  • Free public opening: The exhibition is open free of charge two half-days a week (Mondays and Saturdays, from 15:00 to 19:00/20:00 – Exact hours to be confirmed).
  • Group visits & special bookings: For specific groups wishing to visit the exhibition outside the free public opening hours, guided tours with a cultural mediator are available. As a non-profit organisation, the EUI does not charge an entrance fee; however, a financial contribution will be appreciated to cover the fixed expenses for security and exhibition guarding.

Accessibility of the exhibition spaces

Including the San Marco/Michelangelo Garden and the interior rooms of Palazzo Buontalenti, are fully accessible to visitors with reduced mobility and wheelchair users. All exhibition areas are located on the ground floor.
