Library survey results

Posted on 13 December 2016

Between 7 and 18 November the EUI Library’s 2016 User Survey (Qualtrics) was open to the EUI community.

The Survey's answers remained anonymous.

It was sent to 1350 EUI members:  Professors, Researchers, Fellows, Academic Assistants and Administrative staff (Library staff did not participate) and 172 members completed the Survey.

We offered respondents the possibility to freely comment on various aspects of the Library in the relevant sections of the survey. The comments provide a useful perspective on the bare numbers and often agree with our own intuitions and judgments. In the next few months we will concentrate our efforts on areas where improvement is needed, and also be in touch directly with the departments, centres and programmes to liaise directly on issues arising.

Some comments concerning matters which fall outside the Library's responsibility have been forwarded to the appropriate EUI services (e.g. buildings, air conditioning, furniture, PCs, IT network, scanning and printing facilities).

Many thanks for the many compliments on the library team and the service we provide – these were very much appreciated.

The 2016 Library Survey Results are now available.
