European Medicines Agency makes first archival transfer The European Medicines Agency, an official agency of the European Union, deposited the first set of its historical archives at the Historical Archives of the European Union in October 2025. Transfer news: Archives of President Delors' Cabinet I now in Florence The Historical Archives of the European Union in Florence has received 1273 files produced by the office of President Jacques Delors during the Delors I Commission between 1985 and 1989. Under Europe’s seal: HAEU trainee brings archival artefacts to light Historical Archives trainee Nicolas Kernel has developed an online exhibition exploring the seals of the first European communities. Based on research for his master’s thesis in Contemporary Archives Management, Nicolas demonstrates how material objects become instruments of legal and symbolic legitimisation.
