The EUI (the Departments and the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies) acts as a host institution for Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellowships which are awarded by the European Commission.
The 2018 call for these Fellowships has been published by the European Commission with an application deadline of 12 September 2018 (17:00 CEST).
The EUI organises a pre-selection with a deadline of 6 June 2018 (24:00 CEST). Candidates should ensure that they fulfil the conditions of eligibility and send an expression of interest to the EUI by applying online.
Your file should contain the following elements.
1) Application form in which you are invited to provide your personal data, application details, and the names of two referees who have agreed to send a reference for you. The referees should not include members of the professorial staff of the EUI.
Attach the following documents as PDF files to the online application form:
2) A short CV.
3) A two-page research proposal.
4) A short statement with indication of why the EUI/the RSCAS would be the best host institution for your research.
Two letters of reference should be sent directly by the referees by e-mail to [email protected]. References from current full-time/part-time EUI professors will not be accepted.
The EUI will not accept any candidates that do not have the explicit support of a member of the EUI faculty. Before applying, candidates should ensure the support of an EUI professor who would be willing to support their application and act as mentor. His/Her name should be indicated in the application form.
After having submitted your application online you will receive confirmation of receipt by email; if not, contact us at [email protected] to make sure that your application has safely arrived. For any questions about the application procedure please contact [email protected].
The EUI decides whether to accept the applicant and to support the application on the basis of an internal academic evaluation and the availability of suitable supervision. Priority is given to candidates whose profiles fit closely with existing interests and orientations at the EUI. The RSCAS gives priority to candidates whose research proposals fit well with one of the Centre’s core research themes
Candidates will be informed of the result of the EUI pre-selection by the end of June.
