KE explains that first aid and emergency team at the EUI are composed by permanent staff, due to the need of continuous presence and specific training. However, REFS is about to install defibrillators in any premise, and it is highly recommended to train some people for their use: for that type of aid researchers are warmly invited to be involved in specific training sessions (the more the best), to be then communicated by mail.

REPS ask for the list of emergency teams and first aid teams in every premise, which will be provided by the REFS (attached to these minutes)

Update of 17/5/2018: a training session on the use of defibrillators is scheduled for the end of May 2018, further information will be circulated soon.

Update of 10/1/2019: REPs ask for the possibility to have regular training sessions on the use of defibrillators. This request will be evaluated and eventually implemented by the Safety and Security Officer.
