If your child is receiving payment, the HR Service will first study the documents provided to determine whether your child can still be regarded as dependent.

If your child is still regarded as dependent, you will be entitled to a double flat-rate education allowance for the duration of the traineeship. Make sure, therefore, that the start date and the end date of the traineeship are clearly set out.
