Yes, if the traineeship is not compulsory for obtaining the degree or diploma, it will not be regarded as attendance at an educational establishment and all the family allowances paid in respect of that child and benefits derived from them will be stopped.

If your child decides to do a traineeship during the normal academic break (July/August, for example), it will not affect your rights.
