Question:
I was recruited at the EUI before 1/1/2005 under the ex-category D, what is my career path under the 2015 Staff Rules?
Answer:
Staff members who entered in service as ex-category D before 1/1/2005 and haven’t in the meantime participated in any internal competition are placed in the “Support Agent in Transition” category ranging from AST1 to AST5. The assignment to a type of post shall be valid until the staff member is assigned to a new function corresponding to another type of post.
